MLA '05: Section-Sponsored Programs

One of major highlights of the annual meeting, section programming addresses current issues and challenges facing health sciences information professionals.

MLA sections represent twenty-three subsets and areas of specialization of the association's membership, including medical informatics, consumer health, pharmacy and drug information. Special interest groups (SIGs) cosponsor many of the programs.

• Programming is organized around five major themes: clinical, diversity, education and outreach, research, and technology.

• Download a copy of the Official Program (see Daily Program), which contains session titles, moderators, presenters, and room assignments.
• Section programming takes place Monday through Wednesday (May 16–18) from 2:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
