The course informs attendees who aspire to become academic health sciences library directors. Topics covered include the director recruitment and hiring process (via course website); budgeting and fundraising; management philosophy, career paths, self-knowledge, and personal leadership assessment; and the politics of leadership of an academic medical center library.
