Learn how epidemiology is used to study human health and disease outbreaks, what the varied roles and training of practitioners involved in creating health data are, and how librarians may use epidemiological knowledge to search and select relevant literature as well as plan their own research. *MLA members who are not able to attend the meeting will be able to register and participate in the web-based version of this course. Technical requirements will be sent electronically prior to the annual meeting.
