This course builds a foundation of core competencies and skills for providing consumer health services in any setting. The blended online and in-person format provides comprehensive coverage of topics and thought-provoking discussion and sharing among classmates. Through carefully designed assignments, participants will finish the class with tangible knowledge and relevant projects that can be immediately applied in their workplaces. Note: Web-based portion of the course will take place pre- and post-meeting. Participants will receive 12 MLA CE contact hours if they participate. The course meets requirements for the MLA Consumer Health Information Specialization, Level 1. |
