This four-hour class is designed to increase your knowledge of new and emerging technologies impacting our profession by discussing mobile devices and social media services. Some of the topics include smartphones, tablets, e-book readers, gesture or voice-based computing, mobile apps and web pages, and collaboration tools. Popular social media services applicable to the libraries will also be discussed. |
