The Sheraton Boston Hotel will serve as the official meeting headquarters hotel. Staying at the Sheraton gives you the easiest possible access to the John B. Hynes Memorial Convention Center and connects you under one roof to all meeting-related activities, without having to go outdoors. When you choose to go out, the Sheraton puts you in the very heart of Boston, where you will be ideally located in the city’s historic Back Bay neighborhood near art museums, shopping, restaurants, and iconic Boston attractions such as Fenway Park, Newbury Street, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, and the Boston Public Library.
MLA has secured a block of rooms at the Sheraton at a special rate of $229 per night for a single or double room. The cutoff date for this rate is April 10, 2013. Rooms are subject to availability. To make it easy for you to reserve your room, MLA has partnered with onPeak for housing services. As a bonus, when you book by April 10 at the Sheraton, you will automatically be entered in a drawing for a complimentary dinner for 2 at the Sheraton’s restaurant.
Your patronage at the Sheraton makes it possible to secure the space necessary for the meeting at a greatly reduced cost. The Sheraton offers you discounted rates, a time-saving convenient location, the best networking opportunities, and comfortable rooms. Your stay at the Sheraton also helps MLA meet its contractual obligations, avoid penalties, and keep meeting registration prices down. Thank you in advance for your support.
Rooms are subject to availability. Reserve early. As backup, MLA has reserved a small block of rooms at the Hilton Boston Back Bay to serve as an overflow hotel.
If your travel plans call for you to stay at the conference hotel early (April 28–30) or later ( May 10–12), email your reservation request to mla@onpeak.com with a copy to mlafa2@mlahq.org. The hotel will honor the discounted MLA conference rate over these dates, subject to limited availability, as these dates are outside MLA's room block.
If you have booked directly with the Sheraton, before MLA partnered with onPeak in January, please make any changes or cancellations directly through the hotel. When calling the Sheraton, reference the Sheraton confirmation number that you received via email from the hotel. If you are making a new reservation, please book directly with onPeak.
