Below is a list of topics MLA is interested in developing into Web-based

for a course to develop during the CE Institute. It is not intended to
limit the topics that will be chosen for the institute.
- Consumer health
- Health information literacy
- Patient safety
- Electronic licensing
- Expert searching
- Medical informatics
- Biology/genetics
- Bioethics
- Public health
- Learning technology
- Electronic publishing
- Copyright/intellectual property
- Library marketing

When referring to this list, please feel free to think broadly about how
your CE course will fit into the topics listed above (i.e. a DOCLINE interlibrary
loan system course could fit under the topic learning technology.)
Only courses approved by MLA for MLA CE contact hours
will be accepted for the institute. If your course is not an MLA-approved
course, please visit MLANET at www.mlanet.org/education/cech/cedevelop.html
