Highlighting the fact that medical librarians are the best resource when searching for health information, this year's NMLM theme is "Medical Librarians: Your Ultimate Search Engine."

Celebrate National Medical Librarians Month by inviting your library patrons to "Honor Your Medical Librarian" by joining MLA as an Affiliate Member. The brochure, specifically for MLA Affiliate Membership, can be downloaded, printed, and distributed to those who may be interested. Physicians, veterinarians, pharmacists, public health workers - just about anyone who uses your library may wish to honor their favorite medical librarian in this way. MLA Affiliate Membership is only $110/year and the benefits of that membership category far outweigh the tax deduction realized by simply making a $110 donation to the association - though that is certainly acceptable! Honorees will receive a Certificate of Recognition and new affiliate members will receive a Certificate of Appreciation.
