National Medical Librarians Month (NMLM)

Creative Promotions Award

In honor of NMLM, MLA will sponsor the Creative Promotions Award contest. First, second, and third place prizes will be given to the MLA members or member institutions who design the most creative event or promotional idea to celebrate NMLM. Members are encouraged to send descriptions, samples, and high-resolution photos of their NMLM celebration. Electronic submissions are also welcome.

Winners of the award will be highlighted in an MLA press release, on MLANET, in the MLA News, and at the MLA '07 Swap 'n Shop exhibit in Philadelphia, PA. First, second, and third place contest winners will also receive $200, $150, and $100 respectively in MLA gift certificates, applicable toward MLA publications, fees, dues, or meetings.

The deadline for entries is November 30, 2006.
