COVID-19 Conversation: Engaging Our Communities in the Time of COVID-19
Clinical and academic health libraries are facing novel challenges in engaging their patrons, stakeholders, and other members of their communities. A panel of three librarians with responsibilities for communication, marketing, and outreach will share their experiences in engaging their communities in this extraordinary time. They will share success stories and creative solutions to problems. You will learn how you can:
- host therapy dog encounters, nature walks, and other virtual wellness events
- promote faculty and student research initiatives
- provide professional development activities to researchers who are locked out of labs
- use “clickbait” to get attention
- experiment with video marketing techniques
- transition small group active-learning sessions to Zoom
- and more!
