This course will provide practical guidance on designing a review service. Starting with writing a mission statement and establishing a logic model, the instructors will guide participants in developing a model for their own services. This will work for services run by solo librarians or teams. Participants will also be given example workflow and documentation templates following the PIECCESS framework for review projects. Finally, evaluation of the service will be considered through an assessment plan.

- Describe and develop a logic model for a review service
- Discuss scope, define parameters that create scope including mission, vision, and goals
- Detail the PIECCESS framework for review projects
- Utilize workflow template to develop workflow
- Describe potential infrastructure needs of a review service
- List strategies for evaluating and marketing review services
This course is an approved elective for Level II of the Systematic Review Services Specialization.

This course is designed for librarians starting or running a review service. This covers librarians consulting on reviews and administrators.
